Hatzung Insurance has been a part of the community since 1950. Our mission is to provide a broad range of insurance products that meet the varied needs of our customers. Prompt, accurate and professional advice along with fair prices and quality service delivered by insurance professionals is our goal and hallmark. The companies we represent are carefully selected to insure they share these values.

History of the Hatzung Insurance Agency

Marvin G. Hatzung, the founder of Hatzung Insurance, established the Hatzung Agency in 1950, as a service oriented Insurance agency.   His roots were that of a dairy farmer in Hartford Wisconsin.  He was raised knowing the true meaning of hard work and the agency today is rooted in those principles and values.  In 1972, Marvin's oldest son Dave was licensed as an insurance agent and in 1981 they incorporated to form what is now Hatzung Insurance Agency.   In 1996 Dan Hatzung joined the team, followed by his older brother Nate Hatzung in 1998.  We are all proud to be a part of an over 55 year legacy at Hatzung Insurance.  We are also very proud to have Dave Wollak as a member of our team as of August 2007.  Even though he does not bare the Hatzung name, he has earned the title "Junior" after our agency principal!  The team at Hatzung Insurance has grown the agency to exceed 5 million dollars with goals to double that in the next five years.  We have second, third and fourth generation customers who continue to place their families trust in our family.

As "Independent Agents", we represent many different insurance companies, not just one. These companies offer comprehensive coverage's for most Business and Personal Insurance needs.

We offer companies that are among the best values in the business, and who are financially strong. The companies we represent also have excellent reputations for paying claims and for giving prompt courteous service.

The people at our agency are, simply put, very nice.  They are  well educated.  They know insurance.  If you have a question they don't have the answer for, they'll find out and get back to you - promptly.
